“How to Be Free of Mental and Emotional Pain, Have Less Stress, Be Happier and Live Free From Painkillers.”

According to the World Health Organization, “In 2019, 1 in every 8 people, or 970 million people around the world were living with a mental disorder, with anxiety and depressive disorders the most common. In 2020, the number of people living with anxiety and depressive disorders rose significantly because of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

If you’re eating/drinking or sleeping too much or too little, have low or no energy, feeling numb, and/or experiencing mood swings, then you may be one of the 970 million people suffering from some mental health problem, whether it be anxiety, fear, depression, and/or PTSD. Is this how you feel?

Do you want to free yourself from this mental pain and get back to a life you love?

If you have a mental disturbance, it is easy to accept that this is now your new normal. It is easy to take painkillers that temporarily masks the pain without discovering the root cause to the problem. It’s easy to push your personal issues aside because you need to take care of others. If this describes you, then we can help!

“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.” Gary Craig, Founder of Emotional Freedom Technique

Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy releases stored energy, ultimately releasing negative emotions and mental disturbances. Physical symptoms arise when there are negative emotions. We address the emotional issues to fix the physical issues.

If you’re curious to learn more about how Traditional Thai Yoga therapy can help you, please call or schedule an appointment today.

A question we get asked all the time is, “What can I do to help rid myself of mental and emotional issues on my own at home?”

Here are 7 things you can start doing now:

  1. Limit your screen time: Social media, television, & texting. Social media can cause you to compare your life to others, and may exaggerate your loneliness, depression, anxiety or poor self-image.
  2. Set boundaries with your relationships that are negative or distance yourself from any negativity in your life.
  3. Journal for 10 minutes every day and include what you’re feeling grateful for and what you want to accomplish during your day.
  4. Nutrition is extremely important: Rid yourself of toxic and sugary foods. Focus on eating whole organic fruits, vegetables and grass fed meats.
  5. Spend at least 20 minutes outside every day: Go for a walk, weed in the garden, play with your children/dogs.
  6. Practice a martial arts, yoga, or meditation.
  7. Get Traditional Thai Yoga therapy by a SomaVeda® practitioner to let your body and mind heal and process past traumas.
